The extent and the magnitude of anticipated impacts of the proposed project on wildlife values would be largely governed by the existing status of wildlife species and their habitats. Probable deviations in species and habitat parameters would then the patterns of the species distribution, movement, breeding and other ecological characteristics. This chapter presents the baseline information on the status terrestrial and aquatic wildlife habitats and the wildlife species of the study area.
