I work towards the strengthened implementation of the World Heritage Convention in Asia and the Pacific Region through the use of communication techniques and outreach to best convey the Convention's international reach and benefits to all stakeholders, with a focus on youth, local and administrative stakeholders. Concepts and meanings of heritage and nature-culture linkages are of particular interest to me for which I play an active role in the Centre's capacity building activities. I have co-edited "Wild Treasures", an anthology published by WII-C2C which spans 200 years of writing about 16 natural World Heritage Sites across the Asia Pacific and served as Assistant Course Director on the inaugural MSc in Heritage Conservation and Management batch of 2019-2021. I have represented WII-C2C and presented on Mixed World Heritage Sites and nature-culture linkages at the 2019 Nature-Culture Linkages organized by University of Tsukuba in Tsukuba, Japan; the 2019 Heritage Education conference organized by the Centre of Heritage Management, Ahmedabad University; the 2021 IUCN World Conservation Congress in Marseille, France (Hybrid mode); and the 2023 ICOMOS General Assembly in Sydney, Australia.
