Mitigative Measures

Our analysis of the environmental issues suggests that this road improvement project, confined as it is to within the existing limits of the RoW, is likely to result in fairly modest impacts. Nevertheless, the importance of wildlife conservation advocates the need to develop a set of mitigative actions that will avoid or minimize the likelihood of serious impacts during the planning, construction and operation of the road. The proposed mitigative measures are expected to provide adequate protection to the wildlife ecosystem potentially affected by the road. These measures are described below. |
