Organized vehicle checks at specially-set-up checkpoints at the entry and exit of the forested section of the NGT road would help to control the illegal exploitation of resources. Contract provisions and temporary fencing should be helpful in limiting the spread of support facilities into the forested areas along the road during construction, and would discourage workers from exploiting the forest resources.
