The proposed project would be located at Chambi, in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. The proposed site is spread over an area of 99.27 ha. Geographically the area extends from Latitude N 30o29’00” - N 31o31’52” and Longitude E 76o53’26” - E 76o55’36”. The plant site is located 4 km from Sundernagar; 130 km from Shimla and 430 km from Delhi on NH21, which runs adjacent to the plant site.
