Note:
       
1.     None of the candidate qualified in the entrance test for the following posts :
  (i)   JRF Statistics in the project 'Long term monitoring of tigers, co-predators and prey in tigers' reserves and other tiger bearing areas of Vidarbha, Maharashtra' and
  (ii)   Junior Technical Assistant in the project 'Atlas of colonial nesting waterbirds in the east coast states of India'.
       
2.     As per the approval of Director, WII, candidates who have qualified UGC-CSIR NET JRF Fellowship exam, and have an active fellowship period, may be allowed to directly appear for the interview of advertised posts, subject to successful verification of documents pertaining to essential qualification of the applied post.  The qualification of the UGC-CSIR – NET JRF- Fellowship exam does not entitle a student for direct recruitment for the post or guarantee registration of Ph.D. This exam is deemed to be solely of qualifying in nature, in lieu of the exam conducted by WII. The merit and aptitude of these students will be decided based on their interview.
       
      Students who have not registered online, but have qualified UGC-CSIR NET JRF fellowship and have active fellowship can directly appear for the interview, and need to carry a draft of 500 Rs for each post, in favour of “Director, Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun”.
       
3..     Date of interview will be communicated very soon to the shortlisted candidates through e-mail/SMS and also on WII website.
