Webinar : World Dugong day on 28th may 2024

We are excited to share that our keynote speaker for this World Dugong Day (28th May 2023) will be Dr Eric Angel Ramos. He is a distinguished marine scientist specializing in marine mammals, renowned for his groundbreaking research on dolphin behavior, manatee communication, and innovative drone-based studies.We also have a series of guest speakers for the day:Dr. Anant Pande, a notable figure in wildlife conservation with 16 years of experience, has conducted pioneering research in Antarctica is actively engaged in marine megafauna conservation in India.Isha Bopardikar, a PhD student at IISER Tirupati, collaborates with Cornell University's K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics, using acoustic monitoring to study cetacean populations and employing novel techniques for challenging-to-monitor species.
