This short term study was primarily undertaken to examine the suitability of the proposed site for the construction of Nuclear Power Station.

The following is the broad scope of work undertaken by the WII team under a short term consultancy offer of the APSEB.

i. To assess the existing status of the wildlife habitat and wildlife species present in and around the proposed project area.

ii. To evaluate the suitability of the site for the proposed Nuclear Power Station at Nagarjunasagar.
