i. In Ramsagar lake as the impact is expected to occur largely on migratory, and locally breeding waterfowl, water should not be drawn from the lake for hydrostatic testing of pipes during the period from October to March. Since the lake caters to the irrigation requirements of the area, water can be drawn from the lake during other seasons subject to the approval of the local authorities.

ii. All construction related activities in this area will have to be completed before the end of November.
