The area is an extensive scrubland (semi wasteland cum grazing land) and provides an immediate impression of a continuous bustard habitat. Since it enjoys no legal protection as the other two areas (Karera and Ghatigoan) not many records of wildlife species are available from here. During our own surveys in this area we have observed only 2 jackal, 3 small Indian mongoose and 5 blackbuck.
