Raghogarh forest area falls under SA/c-Ib -Southern Dry Deciduous Teak category of Champion and Seth (1968). The characteristic species of the sub type are Tectona grandis, Lagerstroemia parviflora, Ougenia dalbergioides, Phyllanthus emblica, Acacia catechu, Boswellia serrata and Zizyphus xylopara (Plate 3.2). The Gadher forest fall under SA/1 s-2- Acacia catechu Forest Type of Champion and Seth (1968). This forest is sera! in nature, occurring as either pure patches of Acacia catechu or mixed with other species. The top canopy tree species of this type are Acacia catechu, Anogeissus latifolia, Boswellia serrata, Diospyros melanoxylon, Lagerstroemia parviflora, Tectona grandis and Lannea grandis (Plate 3.3).
