The vegetation of the area comprises mainly of tropical dry mixed deciduous scrub and desert thorn forest which includes trees, shrubs, herbs and climbers. The area with scanty rainfall and low ground water level supports xerophytic vegetation. The height of vegetal strata rarely reaches 5m above ground.

Acacia senegal, A nilotica, Prosopis spp., Phoneix dectifera, Leuceana sp., Butea sp., and Salvadora spp. were widely distributed tree species. The shrubs include Euphorbia rouglena, Abutilon indicus, Calatropis gigantea, Cleome viscosa, and Jaltropha sp.
