Considering the ecological significance of the area and the importance that this biohabitat evaluation study commands, WII decided to constitute a multidisciplinary and multi-institutional team to work on this study. The details of the team constitution are given in (Appendix II).

The first meeting of the study team was convened by Director WII on August 27, 1997 to apprise the team members of the broad scope of work and to seek advisory and technical inputs that would benefit WII team to make necessary preparatory arrangements prior to undertaking the site visit scheduled during Sept. 18 - 24th 1997.
