5.1 EVALUATION OF THE PROJECT SITE

Documented information relating to wildlife status and ecological and biological characteristics of the different ecosystem within the 25 km. radial zone and our own observations on the above aspect during the reconnaissance study provide fairly adequate understanding of the existing conservation status of the proposed site for Nuclear Power Station. In this section, an attempt has been made to evaluate the project site based on specific criteria that have been discussed earlier in section III of this report.
