Scientific reports, published and unpublished records and information collected from various sources and departmental records of Govt. of Mizoram, and the reports of the earlier conducted environmental studies provided useful information about the project profile and the project environment . Discussion with wildlife officials of State Forest and Wildlife Division, local naturalist and wildlife enthusiasts and representative of Young Mizo Association (YZA) supplemented the information compiled on the distribution of wildlife in the project area.
