Building and other ancillary developments

The proposed airport in the landlocked region like Mizoram will have greater demands of land and locally available building material to support the expansion of residential and official complexes near the proposed site. Besides the construction of airport hotel building indicated in the layout plan, several other developments that can also be visualised near the terminal building include shopping complexes, car parking lots, guest house and tourist complexes etc. Subsequent developments linked to the industrial growth of the region that can be visualised in future, include the establishment of industrial complexes. Further expansion in road network and vehicular traffic would become inevitable in future.
