| Mr. Vipin Sahni is the Director, Quality Council of India (QCI), which is an autonomous body operating National Accreditation Structure in accordance with the International Standards. The council has been entrusted with the task to pursue “Mission India: Quality India” through nation wide quality campaign.
He holds a post graduate degree Management. He has been associated with the field of Quality since last sixteen years and has worked in various capacities in leading consultancy and training organizations in this field. He has been actively involved in establishing the Indian accreditation structure. His present responsibilities include National Registration Board for Personnel & Training (NRBPT) and National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP), which are constituent bodies of QCI. He has been instrumental in introducing several new schemes for personnel and training registration particularly the Consultant Registration Schemes in various conformity assessment areas and the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant registration scheme. He is a qualified Assessor for QMS, EMS and EFQM Award in India. He is a Director on the Board of International Personnel Certification Association (IPC) and member of various national bodies in the field of Conformity Assessment. |
