| Dr. Thomas B Fischer is a Reader and Director of the MA in Environmental Management and Planning in the Department of Civic Design at Liverpool University, UK. He is a Visiting Professor in the Research Centre for Strategic Environmental Assessment at Nankain University, Tianjin, China, Chair of the SEA section of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) and an Associate Research Member of the Viessmann Research Centre on Modern Europe at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada. Thomas has over 15 years of practical and research experience with EA. He has published widely on the topic and is author of the books SEA in Transport and Land Use Planning (2002, Earthscan) and Theory and Practice of Strategic Environmental Assessment (2007, Earthscan). Furthermore, he is co-editor of the Handbook of SEA (2007, Earthscan). | |
