| Ms. Sonia Chand Sandhu holds a masters degree in Environmental Engineering from University of Maryland, USA. In her capacity as a senior team member of the Bank’s Environment Unit in India, She plays an active role in portfolio management and policy dialogue. Her technical focus areas are environment engineering, assessment and planning with applications in roads, transport, energy, rural development and water resources sectors. She has worked on Bank’s environment strategy in India to achieve the broad objective of “environment sustainability” through sectoral operations, policy analysis and due diligence with an intensive focus on mainstreaming environment considerations in development activities. She has co-authored various policy analysis and technical publications. | |
