| Ms. Ramani Ellepola has been closely involved in environmental policy formulation as well as implementation of environmental management and protection programmes in Sri Lanka for the past twenty three years. She presently holds the position of Additional Director General (Technical) of the Central Environmental Authority which is responsible for environmental protection and management in Sri Lanka. She is also closely involved in the development and implementation of EIA procedure in Sri Lanka which is well established in the country at present. She is working towards institutionalizing SEA in Sri Lanka. | |
