| Dr. Praveen Mathur is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University of Ajmer, Rajasthan. He obtained his doctoral degree from Palacky University, Czech Republic. His areas of professional interest include EIA, Environmental Auditing and Environmental Management Systems (EMS). He has obtained a Diploma in Environmental Laws from the prestigious National Law School of India, University at Bangalore. He has been invited by the United Nations Development Programme for delivering the key note address at a summer school in the Czech Republic. He has several research papers published in national and international journals to his credit. He has organized and participated in several training curses, seminars, conferences and refresher courses. As a nature lover, he is actively involved in trekking and wildlife exploration activities under a UGC sponsored scheme for adventure sports. He is also the founder of the WWF club in his department. | |
